Mrs. Aneta Wilmańska
Ms. Aneta Wilmańska has been the Deputy to Chief Executive Officer of the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development since April 2008. In Agency she is in charge of innovation and entrepreneurship development activities, including international cooperation, development of business environment institutions, rendering information and proinnovative services to enterprises and coordination on research activities in innovation, entrepreneurship, human resources development.
Ms. Wilmańska graduated in 2000 in the field of International Political and Economic Relations in the Economics and Sociology Department at the University of Łódź. In 2001, after the graduation from the European postgraduate studies in the European Research Centre at the University of Łódź she was employed in the Ministry of Economy. At the beginning, she was engaged in the issues related to the regional development policy and the pre-accession funds, particularly with the Phare Programme. What followed next, was her engagement in the issues pertaining to the innovation and cohesion policy, in the scope of which she participated in the preparation of the Sectoral Operational Programme - Improvement of the Competitiveness of Enterprises, years 2004-2006 (SOP ICE) within the National Development Plan for 2004-2006. At the beginning of 2004 she was appointed a Deputy Director in the managing department of SOP ICE, in which she was responsible in particular for the programme, monitoring, reporting and the evaluation issues. At the beginning of 2006 she was appointed a Deputy Director in the Department of Economic Development in the Ministry of Economy. She was responsible for coordination of the Lisbon process in Poland, economic policy in the context of globalization and climate change and state aid issues. In the scope of the competence of the Ministry of Economy she coordinated the programming works on the Operational Programme Innovative Economy, years 2007-2013. She participated in the works of the Economic Policy Committee at the Council of the European Union for Economic and Financial Affairs, she also participated in the working groups of the Committee. In 2006 she started the PhD studies in the Management Department at the University of Warsaw.
