Companies, by investing in innovation, are ahead of the competition because they reach where nobody has reached before. Within the framework of its activities, the PARP offers support for entrepreneurs wishing to implement innovation.

Research to the market

As part of the “Research to the market”, entrepreneurs from the SME sector will receive support for implementing the results of R&D work carried out either by themselves or on their behalf. Their effect must be placing new or significantly improved products (goods, services) on the market. In short – from an idea to the market. In order to receive the co-financing, it is not enough just to carry out or outsource R&D work. It is required to have an invention which is either protected or submitted for patent protection or a utility model, which will be implemented in the project.

Implementation of innovation by SMEs

A micro-, small and medium-sized company belonging to a supraregional cooperative relationship that has been working for at least one year (at least 5 companies cooperating with each other in related industries, from at least two voivodeships, including one from Eastern Poland) may obtain the co-financing for the preparation and implementation of an innovative product or service. Support is allocated for, inter alia, purchase of patent rights, technologies, know-how, carrying out adaptation work, implementation including investment in production lines.

Creating networking products by SMEs

Consortia composed of at least 10 micro-, small or medium-sized enterprises may receive the co-financing for the creation, in Eastern Poland, of a networking and innovative product consistent with the Regional Smart Specialisations, common to at least two voivodeships. The project must be based on the distributed structure of entities, attractions, places, structures, functioning as one consistent concept with a common brand name of the product. It is required to create 20 new jobs.

Formula for the competition

A micro-, small and medium-sized enterprise operating in one of the five voivodeships of Eastern Poland may apply for support as regards the use of design in business. The project under the activity “Formula for the competition” is divided into two stages:

  • design audit – diagnosis of the company’s situation and formulating recommendations (design strategy),
  • implementation of the design strategy – implementation of the recommendations.
