Project description

The main area of Tradycja’s long-standing activity is the production of high-quality PVC windows and doors as well as aluminium joinery. This project will facilitate the market launch of our SKY LIGHT window - an innovation on the national scale: it will have the best heat transfer coefficient of 0.68 W/m2K and no need for steel reinforcement. We will also introduce a new glazing bead cutting technology which will automate the production process. The project includes an important development phase: the Warsaw University of Technology will be commissioned to carry out: tests to verify the achievement of the heat transfer coefficient, tests of glass fibre reinforcements, and tests to verify class 4 mechanical strength, wind load resistance and class 9A water tightness. In the project implementation phase specialist equipment will be purchased (machining and cutting facility, saws for glazing beads with electronic measurement, screwdrivers with automatic screw feed, saw for unusual angles) and photovoltaic panels will be installed. The panels will reduce CO2 emissions at our plant by 8.12 tons per year. SKY LIGHT windows will be intended for export, particularly to Scandinavian countries and the UK. Therefore, the windows will have the style typical of the Scandinavian region, i.e. with muntins, stylish glazing beads and special fittings with different opening methods, such as top-turn or top-swing.
