Project description

Most of service contracts we all conclude are of an indefinite duration and usually involve a monthly fee, e.g. utility, telecommunications, insurance, programme memberships (e.g. health, sports). They are easy to enter into, but difficult to terminate. There are often no clear instructions on what to do in the event of termination. This causes major problems for disadvantaged people, such as the disabled and the elderly. The inability to terminate a contract results not only in monthly costs, but also in a growing sense of frustration and helplessness. The new Consul-net service will offer automated contract termination on behalf of and at the instruction of the customer, based on the data and consent provided by him or her. Using our service allows the contract to be terminated without physical interaction. This eliminates the risk of infection, which is particularly important in crises such as the current spread of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus or the annual threats of the flu season. The project will focus on the development of details of the service provision process and the launch of an interactive internet platform through which it will be implemented. We will use advisory services to develop and implement the platform, and mentoring services with regard to communication with recipients, reaching out to new groups of customers and creating a message in a clear and credible form.
