Project description

As a result of project implementation, the Beneficiary successfully achieved the project objective by developing and introducing an innovative product, "Torba Borba/ Trolley Bolley " - an eco-friendly electric-powered shopping cart designed to assist elderly individuals with their shopping needs. The key project outcomes include:

• Product Development: Creation of two product variants - a more affordable version with a single bag and a premium version with two bags (developed based on market research and potential customer insights).
• Prototype Engineering: Development of a fully functional shopping bag prototype featuring an integrated electric motor and a two-compartment design, enhancing usability and convenience.
• Digital Innovation: Design and implementation of a dedicated mobile application enabling rental and reservation of Torba Borba bags through senior centers, providing seamless accessibility for the target demographic.
• Market Expansion Strategy: Comprehensive market entry plan for the Norwegian market, including:
  • Establishing initial contact with four Senior Centers in Norway;
  • Engaging with local supermarket networks;
  • Initiating discussions with the leading walker manufacturer in the Norwegian market;
