Project description

ZM Jabłonski specialises in manufacturing machines for the woodworking industry. The processes implemented under the project include new technological operations that let us produce machines which could not be manufactured before due to technological shortages. Many innovative solutions developed by our design team were not possible to implement without a high-precision cutter, or the right size of a bending machine for elements of a specific length. The project has eliminated these problems and increased the production capacity of our plant. We have implemented an innovative technological process of cutting and bending of elements that become subassemblies of the machines manufactured. The new process uses the following elements purchased under the project: a fibre laser, an automatic sheet metal rack, a bending brake, a threading machine and a by-product container. Thanks to the cooperation with a scientific unit, a new technical solution will be implemented in the machines and submitted for patent (an input feeding system with specialized recoil latches).

For our Polish clients the project has given possibility of choosing a domestic machine manufacturer that provides technical parameters and quality identical to those of machines from foreign corporations, but at significantly lower price.

For our company, the use of a modern machine park significantly reduces the labour and energy consumption of the technological process, which affects the production costs. PV panels reduce the use of conventional energy by nearly 50,000 kWh per year. The purchase of a heat pump has resulted in significant savings in fuel (eco-pea coal) and thus lower CO2 emissions into the atmosphere by 92.82 tons per year. And last but not least, the adaptation of the hall to the new technological process with simultaneous thermal modernisation has reduced thermal energy consumption. Apart from beneficial effects on the environment, all these have therefore brought significant cost savings of electricity and heat. The project has made us a local leader of sustainable production and care for the environment.
