Increased competitiveness of KONSTALBUD S.C. through innovative investments in environmentally friendly steel structures technologies

Konstalbud specialises in metal processing, manufacturing of metal components and trade in steel products. Owing to cooperation with companies from telecom and energy-related sectors, and with R&D institutions, our company has become the only Polish manufacturer of specialist large-size metal drums and reels in the sector of environmentally-friendly technologies (RES). The project involves the construction of a large-size production hall, the purchase of an innovative technological line, the construction of a photovoltaic installation to diversify energy sources, and the purchase of software to design and manage the production technology. The implementation of an innovative rolling technology and CNC plasma burning under the project will allow us to manufacture ultra-precise metal components (drums and reels) made of steel sheets and steel pipelines for the collection and treatment of ballast/oily water, compressed air or oils designed with the use of computer isometrics in order to protect the environment. The launch of the new products will contribute to the development of the company: a turnover increase by over 50% and a headcount increase by 7 new jobs. The project will reduce annual CO2 emissions by over 46 tons and production waste by 20 tons year.
