On 11th of October this year the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development together with Innovation Norway co-organised 'Zero emission technologies in the maritime economy' event for Polish and Norwegian companies from the SME sector that offer innovative solutions in the field of blue technologies.

Attending companies operate in the following fields:

  • offshore industry,
  • offshore energy industry,
  • wind energy,
  • offshore wind power plants,
  • water and coastal construction,
  • environmentally neutral processes of manufacturing, construction and repair of yachts and boats; equipment and machinery manufacturing.

The event consisted not only of a seminar session and mini panel discussion during Baltexpo trade fair, but also a tour of the Port of Gdynia conducted from the deck of a ship. The event ended with an official dinner and a business mixer session at the Emigration Museum in Gdynia, where Polish and Norwegian entrepreneurs were able to conduct business talks.

- We are extremely pleased with such an interest from both Polish and Norwegian participants. Our event was attended by 48 people representing 39 entities from Poland and Norway. For many entrepreneurs who plan their expansion in Norway, the Baltexpo event was a valuable source of information about the market, as well as a great opportunity to establish contacts that could potentially develop into further business cooperation - says Justyna Kizlich from the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development.
