Sectoral Human Capital Study II Chemical Industry
We present the key results of the second edition of the research project Sectoral Human Capital Study II (BBKL II) in the chemical industry. The aim of BBKL II project is to increase knowledge on current and future demand for skills in 10 sectors of the Polish economy.
The research project in chemical industry combines two editions, each of them includes a broad array of qualitative methods, including Delphi with 40 respondents as well as a quantitative survey on a representative sample over 809 employers and 825 employees holding key positions in the sector. The second edition was conducted in January 2022 – May 2023.
In this brochure you will find data on: the situation of the chemical industry, trends and factors strongly affecting the sector, employment in the sector, hiring foreigners, assessment of employees’ skills, as well as new and growing positions in the sector and new skills.
